I couldn't resist driving up to launch this morning. Planfait, Annecy was still under snow but the road had been cleared enough to drive up with a 4X4 equipped with snow tyres.
Staring at the snow-covered take-off I vowed that the next sunny day would be mine, I will be up there to fly, even if it means only staying airborne for as long as I can feel the brakes.
Despite Blazewear heated gloves and the thickest RAB jacket on the market, topped with a Mammut windproof, it is still not enough to keep me warm.
As it's PWC Porterville time in no less than 4 weeks, I am getting desperate to fly. Being in the right place at the right time is now crucial.
